How to Emulate Your Favourite Celebrities with Braces 0
Braces are recommended for dental issues and cosmetic purposes. Misaligned teeth can cause discomfort and difficulties in everyday tasks, so it is always crucial to follow your orthodontist’s advice. Many people are recommended to have braces as children, however it is also common for adults to wear braces, as our teeth can still move as we grow older.
Signs You May Need Braces:
- Crooked Teeth
- Overcrowded Teeth
- Difficulty chewing or biting
- Biting the cheek or roof of your mouth
- Jaws that make sounds or often shift
- Overbites or underbites
Without treatment these signs could consequently lead to tooth decay, gum disease, headaches, earaches and making speaking and chewing more of a challenge.
Having braces can alter the appearance of both your teeth and face dramatically, especially if you suffer with an overbite, open bite or underbite. Braces can realign your teeth back into the correct position for a more comfortable feel and a more natural appearance.
Emulating Celebrity Smiles with Braces
Many celebrities choose to use braces to renew their smiles, ready for red carpet events and photo shoot smiles. Aligning your teeth can boost your self-esteem to make you feel more comfortable in social situations, as you become more confident with your smile while talking and laughing.
Major celebrities, such as Khloe Kardashian, Justin Bieber and sports star cyclists Laura Trott and Jason Kenny have all reportedly had Invisalign. A lot of people opt for Invisalign for its invisible look, which makes it unnoticeable to casual onlookers. This makes Invisalign the perfect orthodontic treatment for those who are worried about how their smile would look in traditional, metal braces.
Hollywood sensation Tom Cruise went for a combination of both invisible braces and ceramic braces after realising that his front teeth were not as straight as they could be.
Ceramic braces are fitted to the front of your teeth, but can be made with coloured or clear brackets, depending on how subtle you want your braces to be. They are much less noticeable than classic metal braces but are just as effective.
Pop star Miley Cyrus has been known for wearing lingual braces also. Lingual braces are made up of small brackets and arch wires that are attached to the back of your teeth, allowing them to be completely unnoticeable from the front while effectively straightening your teeth.
