As we all know, achieving and maintaining a mouth full of perfectly aligned teeth is a worthy goal as well as a great indicator of your general health. As a treatment that is rapidly increasing in popularity in the dental market, clear braces can pose a number of benefits to the patient.

Previously, the only method of treatment for those with mal aligned teeth was traditional ‘train track’ braces. An eye-catching option with an average treatment length of 24 months, traditional braces are often approached with a sense of disdain – particularly amongst adult patients. However, due to developments in dental technology, there are now alternative treatments for patients to take.

For image conscious teenagers, working professionals, and others who don’t want to draw attention to their dental work in progress, there are plenty of nearly invisible options available. And unsurprisingly, their popularity is growing. So, let's run you through a few pros and cons of lingual braces to help you make a decision.
